The food was poor in comparison to previous cruises. The linens were not changed for an entire week! The last night Fri. the 20 Feb. the night before departure BINGO!,all new and fresh bedding! When we embarked on the 14 Feb we noticed the linens were not fresh, so we attributed it to the humidity! Once in a lifetime cruise for us for our 40th aaaniversary and my 60th birthday, and are so regretful that we booked with Holland America. SO many problems and they don't care. Don't bother buying trip insurance either, because you have to bill your own insurance company first and they require procedure codes, which Holland America will NOT provide ... they won't even respond to emails or phone... NO ONE SEEMS TO BE CONNECTED TO ANYONE ELSE IN THIS COMPANY-Not one person was able to assist me in finding information an -E-mail offer that was Sent to me -I was hung up on a few times- put on Hold for 30-40 minutes at a time-and than I hear people snickering about my reaction of Not being helped properly. Holland America has very racist policies against Asian customers. I recently went on a trip on the Volendam in South East Asia and their event manager Meghan enforces very racist policies against their Asian customers who are not permitted to use game rooms but have to play in the dimly lit Crow's Nest or the hot Lido Pool area while their Western customers were allowed to use air conditioned... Eurodam 1/26-2/2/2013 - Norovirus - crew members infected passengers - by end of third day there were at least 20 reported cases. What would you do if your cruise line lost your bag between their transit bus from the airport to the ship?
